| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
当研究室の研究により明らかにした大腸がん進化モデル（ProsGenetics 2016）により、7番染色体、13番染色体の増幅が大腸がんの早期に共通して生じることが明らかになったため、これらに内包されるがん遺伝子を大腸がん臨床検体および実験により同定している。現在までに7番染色体に３つ、13番染色体に１つがん遺伝子候補を同定した。それらの機能解析を進めつつ新たながん遺伝子を検索している。

引き続き新規がん遺伝子の同定を試みる。また同定したがん遺伝子は機能解析および化合物スクリーニングを行う。
