| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本邦において各々の癌症例におけるPrecision medicine（精密医療）の実践のためにゲノム医療が実用化されてきている。大腸がん進化におけるゲノム変化を明らかにすることがゲノム医療の有効な実践に必須と考える。我々はこれまでヒト大腸がん組織を用いて包括的なゲノム解析を行い、大腸がんの進化モデルを提唱してきた（PLoS Genet 2016, Nat Commun 2018）。
上記のゲノム解析により、大腸癌に広く存在する発癌関連ゲノム変化（Founder遺伝子の変異）として、７番、１３番染色体のコピー数の増幅を見い出した（PLoS Genet 2016, Nat Commun 2018）。これらの染色体に、大腸癌の発癌や進展に関与するがん遺伝子が存在することが強く示唆されるため本研究では、内包されるがん遺伝子を同定してきた（PSPH: Anticancer Res 2017, 5MP1:eBioMedicine
revised, DDX56: Cancer Sci revised, CRAG: Anticancer Res, BEN:Cancer Sci revised他）。
最終年度では上記研究の総括および引き続き新規がん遺伝子の同定と機能解析を行った。また現在これらの遺伝子を標的とした治療薬（化合物）の同定とその機能解析を行っている。
