Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We investigated the involvement of some growth factors, such as EGF, FGF, KGF and HGF, in growth and regeneration in irradiated salivary gland. These growth factors promote branching morphogenesis and amylase expression in salivary gland of embryonic day 12.5 mouse. We suggested EGF and FGF7/10 could recover decreased ability of growth and functions of irradiated salivary gland.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
