Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we established newly oral squamous cell carcinoma cell lines and salivary gland carcinoma cell line derived from surgical specimen. Moreover, we analyzed some oncogene and tumor suppressor gene. Furthermore, we established acquired resistant cell lines against CDDP and Cmab. In addition, we established radiation resistant oral carcinoma cell line. Now, we analyzed mutation of oncogene and tumor suppressor gene using Next Generation Sequencer against parental cell lines. Next, we established mucoepidermoid carcinoma cell lines, and adenoid cystic carcinoma cell line. we will analyze molecular characterization of salivary gland carcinoma cell lines.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
口腔がんの治療方針としては外科切除が優先されるが、術後再発や転移のリスクが高い場合は放射線化学療法(あるいは放射線治療)が行われることが推奨される。術後治療の効果が患者の予後を決定するといっても過言ではない。われわれは術後治療の効果判定を切除した組織検体から予測できないかと考え、患者由来の癌培養細胞を作成し、がん化学療法や放射線治療を行った際の遺伝子の変化から効果予測が可能かを検討した。
