Outline of Final Research Achievements

The professionalism education in the medical and dental college education becomes the global standards. In Japan, the professionalism education is advocated at the beginning of a dental education model core curriculum. However, culture and medical systems are different among countries, it is necessary to make original education methods adapted to Japan.
I made one work-book and two education videos as material resources, and made some opportunities of work-shop for educators as human resources. And I built stratagem of the improvement of the education environment that cultivated professionalism of dental students.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

本邦では安心・安全の医療が求められており、その負託に応える優秀な医療人を育成することは医療系の高等教育機関の使命である。しかしながら、一部の医療者や医療系学生によるアンプロフェッションルナルなふるまいは、医療者や学生への不信感を招いている。加えて疾病構造の変化や患者の権利意識の変化と情報社会の発達により、良好な医療者-患者関係の構築をはむつかしくなってきている。
本研究は、良好な関係を構築するための情意とノンテクニカルスキの向上を目指して、医学教育理論に基づいた教育の物的・人的資源の開発を行っており、その社会的意義は大きいと考えている。
