Outline of Final Research Achievements

To propose the model core curriculum for basic medicine in the Nursing education in Japan, syllabi of nursing universities in Japan were examined on Web for education of basic medicine. In the second step, specific learning contents in respective subjects were listed and validated. Through these processes, the model core curriculum of basic medicine for Nursing education was proposed here.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

看護系大学における基礎医学科目の教育内容や教育体制は大学間でかなり異なってる。看護学部にふさわしい独自の基礎医学教育カリキュラム、しかも普遍的なモデル・コア・カリキュラムが必要であろう。本研究では、実用性、普遍性を備えたカリキュラム案の構築を目指した。提案したカリキュラム案は、文部科学省「看護教育モデル・コア・カリキュラム」の不完全な部分を補完するとともに、詳細な項目を列挙することによって、実用化を図った。国内大学の看護基礎医学教育の指針として活用されることが期待される。
