Outline of Annual Research Achievements

東日本大震災において建物被害に関する教訓をまとめて、建物の被害関数に対し、マクロスケールで大きな影響を与える津波の外力を調べて、明らかにし、ミクロスケールで女川町で建物が転倒した原因を津波数値解析、構造・地盤の解析等で転倒のメカニズムを明らかにした。また建物被害と人的被害の関係を調べて、他の地域で今後の被害を予測する研究を始める同時に、スマートフォンのアプリケーションを開発している。建物被害、人的被害の他に、海域の養殖施設とアマモ場の被害と津波外力との関係も調べ始めている。

以上のリード研究、協力した研究は様々な国内外の学会、会議で発表し、次の通り査読付き国際雑誌にも掲載されている（ Frontiers in Built Environment, International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction, Coastal Engineering Journal and Natural Hazards）。

計画では既往研究のレビュー、海外調査程度を計画したが、他に協力できる研究ができ、この研究テーマで自分が協力できる範囲で貢献することができた。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

東日本大震災において建物被害のデータを使用し、 他地域への適用性についてより詳細な検討を実施する。また海外大学の研究者を受入する予定があり、その期間中に、海外への適用性に関する意見交換等を実施する。他地域への適用が可能な海域の養殖施設とアマモ場の被害と津波外力との関係のことも同時に続ける。
