2022年度は2021年度までのコロナ禍の影響が少なくなってきたものの、高齢者施設の制限はまだ厳しく、実環境での実験には至らなかった。そのため主に実験室環境でデータを採取しアルゴリズムを構築することを目標に研究を推進した。日常的な活動量の計測法としてスマートウォッチのアプリケーション開発を推進した。さらに実験室環境で取得したデータから情報抽出するアルゴリズムの開発に向けては、既存のデータセットを用いて研究を推進した。具体的には、被験者に装着した加速度計から活性度を推定する方式について研究として"Estimation of Functional Independence Measure Motor Score Based on a Trunk Control Model"を、睡眠時の呼吸状態を無拘束で計測する方法として"Classification of Unconstrained Respiratory States Utilizing Multidimensional Probability Distribution Based on Respiratory Frequency Information at Each Time Step"をそれぞれInternational Journal of Affective Engineeringに報告をした。
