Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The current project makes an original contribution to the study of child bilingualism in its examination of receptive bilingual children's language use in interaction.Through the four publications resulting from this research project, there is greater understanding of receptive bilingualism in children. With the knowledge gained, families and educators would have a better insight as to how to promote active bilingualism in children. The publications include a book chapter, two research papers (one currently in press) and one conference proceedings. All publications were peer-reviewed.The results were also presented at three domestic and international conferences.
