I visited libraries, museums and research institutes in fifteen cities of nine countries and researched manuscripts of all kinds of Persian works copied in 13th -15th centuries. In this study, I explain a big picture of Persian literary activity and court culture of Persianate Societies, which cover even small dynasties.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
これまでの研究では、イルハーン朝がペルシア語文芸活動の興隆に果たした役割が重ねて強調されてきたものの、その典拠とされる作品は、「有名な」一部の歴史書や文学作品に限定されており、その評価は一面的なものにすぎなかった。これに対し、学界に紹介されていない作品も含む全ての分野の文献を考察の対象とすることで、地方政権の宮廷文化の様相をも明らかにした本研究は、新たな視点だけではなく、新たな文献史料を提示するという意味でも、ペルシア語文化圏史研究に大きく寄与するものと言えるだろう。
