Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this research, I studied simple stably projectionless C*-algebras, which are noncommutative and infinite-dimensional mathematical objects. In particular, I studied symmetires of W and classified some integer actions and finite group actions on W up to conjugacy and outer conjugacy. Also, I showed that central sequence C*-algebra of W has some interesting properties.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

C*-環は作用素環論の研究対象であり, 非可換かつ無限次元な数学的対象である. 非可換性や無限次元といった性質を数学的に解明することが作用素環論の主題である. 作用素環論では中心的な課題の一つとして, 作用素環への群作用の分類が研究されている. 本研究で得られた成果は, 単純 stably projectionless という単位元も射影も持たないクラスに属するC*-環への群作用の分類で最初に得られた肯定的な結果である.
