Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Novel molecular probes were prepared and their in vitro and in vivo function was evaluated for imaging of tumor tissues with magnetic resonance and photoacoustic dual imaging methods. Magnetic resonance imaging has advantages for noninvasive whole-body imaging and photoacoustic imaging has been developed as a promising three-dimensional imaging modality with high-definition. Through modification of gelatin as a surface modifier of probes, anti-cancer reagent was incorporated into the probes and the biological effect was confirmed by in vivo imaging of cancer tissue with contrast of the probes.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
