Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
I fabricated large-area Al nanoantennas with tunable plasmon resonances in a wide wavelength range. Further accurate resonance tuning was demonstrated by post-fabrication etching. The work was published on Scientific Reports. I collaborated with researchers from Northwestern University and demonstrated infrared spectroscopic biosensing with ITO nanorod arrays. This work demonstrated the great potential of ITO as alternative plasmonic materials and was published on Advanced Optical Materials. I also collaborated with researchers from National Taiwan University and created Graphene-supported Au nanoprisms on a periodic Si nanopillar array, which facilitates studying the optical hybridization effect between plasmonic modes and photonic modes. This was published on Nanoscale.
