| Research Abstract |
炭素では達成できない特異な構造・電子状態をもつ、ケイ素やゲルマニウムなどの高周期14族元素化合物を創製し、その結合、電子状態や物性を明らかにする。同時に、高周期14族元素を次世代機能材料の中心元素として用いるための新しい方法論を提供する。広く高周期典型元素の基礎化学をより現代的で高度なものとして発展させる。
