Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Priority Areas
Role of HB-EGF in cell growth and tumor growth and the clinical significance of HB-EGF in ovarian cancer were studied. Results indicated HB-EGF is a promising target for cancer therapy. Clinical development of HB-EGF inhibitor CRM197 is in progress.
