Research Abstract	The nature of functional extracellular environments in vivo remains unclear. To address this issue, we organized research project, termed "Dynamics of extracellular environments" and held annual meetings in which all members in this project presented their research. In addition, we invited excellent scientists studying extracellular environments to some of the meetings. In addition, we published papers, showing the results of the studies done by all members in this project. These help members in this project promote their research.
