| Research Abstract |
水質汚濁問題を抱えていた諏訪湖の水質が近年になって改善されはじめ、それに伴って生態系が大きく変化し始めた。本研究では、その生態系変化の様子とメカニズムの解明を試みた。諏訪湖では、アオコ減少、不快昆虫ユスリカの減少、水草の増加、大型ミジンコの増加がほぼ同時期に起きた。生態系のレジームシフトが起きたといえる。植物プランクトンの生産力低下が生物間相互作用を介して生態系全体に波及したと考えられた。
