Research Abstract

日本国内の小学校児童を主対象として、コンピュータを用いて等質化した英語学習を行い、年齢効果を検証した。その際、従来の言語学習の臨界期仮説で対象としている言語を総体としてとらえるのではなく、音韻、リズム、語彙といった要素に分けて学習を行った。その結果、小学生において有意な学習効果がみられ、効果、学年、要素の間に交互作用があり、外国語の学習において要素によって学習に適した年齢が異なることが明らかになった。
