Research Abstract

本研究では,平成18～20年度に絶対重力測定を毎年実施した.測定結果を1987年の測定結果と比較したところ,過去約20 年の間米国アラスカ州南部において,4μgal/yearを超える速度で重力値が減少していることが明らかになった.このような高速の重力減少速度は,氷河融解に伴うものとしては,世界的にも例がない.この結果とアラスカ大学がこれまで実施してきたGPS観測による地殻上下変動は.氷河融解に伴う弾性・粘弾性変形モデルで良く説明できることがわかった
