| Research Abstract |
本研究では、マルチモーダルな情報処理に関わる前頭連合野背外側部ニューロンの活動を指標に、同一神経回路網上でモダリティーの異なる情報がどのように表現され、処理されているのかを解析した。その結果、ある情報に関わる細胞集団の空間的な分布の違いにより様々な情報が表現されていること、異なる情報間でこの分布に大きな重なりのあることにより、多様な情報の迅速で柔軟な処理が可能になっていることが示唆された。
