海洋における炭素・栄養塩変動把握のための国際標準物質の研究

Research Abstract

1.栄養塩標準を作成するのと同様の高温高圧処理を行って、無毒全炭酸標準の作成実験を行った。無毒全炭酸標準の作成について、均一性を向上させる努力を行った結果、2387.8±0.9μmol kg^<-1>(N=8)を達成することができた。CVでは0.04%となり、研究開始時の目標であった1%未満を達成できた。また、現時点では100日程度の安定性を確認している。
2.2006年に行った栄養塩標準の国際共同実験の結果を出版するとともに、2008年に3回目の国際共同実験を56ラボの参加で行った。個々のラボ内でのコンパラビリテイは、一部のラボを除くと大変良いことが確認され、国際栄養塩スケールが確立すれば全球の栄養塩データのコンパラビリテイが明らかに向上することが期待できる結果となった。
3.パリのUNESCO本部会議室において、国際栄養塩スケールの国際ワークショップを行った。議論の結果、3年間の栄養塩標準の安定度試験を世界共同で行うこと、IOC総会に国際栄養塩スケールを提案することなどを決めた。
