| Research Abstract |
第一に言語構造、養育環境(親の働きかけ、メディア環境、家族環境など)、個体要因(物理的世界の認知能力、社会的認知能力、気質、出産時情報など)の言語発達への影響を明らかにした。第二に親の報告から言語発達を測定するマッカーサー乳幼児言語発達質問紙の妥当性が実験と観察データから高いことを明らかにした。第三に言語構造の違い(複数の形態素の有無)が認知へ寄与するかどうか明らかにした。第四に大人の言語との比較を基調に、子供の言語を(i)非対称性、(ii)「幼児語」の音韻構造、(iii)アクセントの獲得、(iv)促音の出現、以上の4つの観点から明らかにした。
