| Research Abstract |
ダイズの種子成熟期に茎葉が緑色と水分を残す現象である莢先熟は、機械収穫の深刻な障害となっているが、発生機構が解明のままである。そこで、莢先熟を起こしやすい品種タチナガハと起こしにくい品種Stresslandの交雑系統などを用いて、莢先熟発生の遺伝的要因として伸育型遺伝子Dt1座が極めて強い作用と持つこと、Dt1遺伝子の違いに由来する茎の伸長性および導管液の老化抑制物質サイトカイニン濃度の違いが発生に関与することを明らかにした。
