| Research Abstract |
卵巣に存在する原始卵胞卵は雌側の遺伝情報を伝える重要な資源であるが、未だ活用されていない。この研究では、ブタをモデルとして異種間移植、体外培養および顕微操作を組み合わせて、原始卵胞卵を人為的に発育させ、さらに初期胚へと発生させることに成功した。これら一連の成果は、稀少な動物あるいは家畜の原始卵胞卵から個体を再生する上で、必要不可欠な手法である。
