| Research Abstract |
ヘリカル2次構造の構築原理について、有機合成化学の手法によりアプローチを行った。すなわち、新規キラル環状ジ置換アミノ酸として、側鎖上に不斉中心を有する環状アミノ酸、側鎖とα炭素の両方に不斉中心を有する環状アミノ酸などを設計・合成し、そのオリゴマーの2次構造を各種スペクトル測定、X線結晶解析より解析した。その結果、短鎖ペプチドでもα-ヘリックスを形成する環状アミノ酸を創製でき、そのヘリックス2次構造を不斉分子触媒として用いる不斉反応を開発した。
