Research Abstract

本研究課題においては、Cajal-Retzius細胞によって発生制御を受ける皮質投射ニューロンに発現されている転写因子Meis2に主眼をおいて解析を進めてきた。これまでの解析結果から、転写因子Meis2は皮質構築過程において(A)神経細胞への運命決定・分化(B)神経細胞の脳室帯から皮質板への細胞移動調節(C)皮質前駆細胞の細胞分裂調節のおもに3つの発達素過程に重要な役割を果たすことを明らかにした。
