| Research Abstract |
今年度は、昨年度までの調査の結果をまとめ、国内や外国の学会などで報告した。そして、総まとめにあたる原稿を執筆した。学会などでの報告としては、フィリピン大学で開催されたユネスコ・ワークショップ(平成20年4月25日、マニラ)での「Is the Human Body a Commodity?」と題する報告、早稲田大学で開催された「International Symposium of Medical Law against Post-Genome Age:In Commemoration of the Fiftieth Anniversary of Comparative Law Institute at Waseda University」
(平成20年6月28日)での「The Commodification of Human Body and its ELSI」と題する報告、大阪大学で開催された「Symposium:Diversity and Universality of Medicine,Culture and Religion on Facing Death and Dying:Interdisciplinary Research in Eastern Asia」(平成20年6月29日)での「Are Organs Commodities?」と題する報告などがある(以上、粟屋が報告)。ほかに、クロアチア、リエカ市で開催された国際生命倫理学会主催の第9回生命倫理世界大会「The Challenge of Cross-Cultural Bioethics in the21st century」(平成20年9月5〜8日)での「Compensating Organ Donors:Consequences and Policy Options」と題する報告がある(研究協力者であるLeonardode Castro氏およびSarah Jane Toledano氏(ともにフィリピン大学)が報告)。
総まとめにあたる論文としては、「人体商品化論-それは立法によって禁止されるべきか-」『ポストゲノム社会と医事法(医事法講座第1巻)』(甲斐克則編、信山社、平成21年6月刊行予定)を執筆した。さらには、現在、「商品としての臓器-フィリピン腎臓ドナー調査報告-」と題する原稿を執筆中である(英文一流誌に投稿予定)。
