Research Abstract

本研究では, 日本列島を中心に,東アジアの甲虫類の生物地理学的な歴史を, 分子系統地理学の手法を用いて解析した.主な研究対象はオサムシ亜族,ネクイハムシ亜科, ハンミョウ科である.中国各地, ロシア沿海州・サハリン州, 韓国, タイ, ネパール,ベトナム,フィリピン,バングラディシュ, インド,カナダマニトバ州・オンタリオ州,アメリカ東部, および日本国内での調査を行い, 各系統群の地理的分化の歴史的過程を解明した.
