Research Abstract

マレー半島を主たる生息地とする4種のフタバガキ科樹木集団の集団構造、遺伝的多様性を二つの核遺伝子を使って調査した。分集団間にはあまり大きな遺伝的分化は見られなかったことと、頻度の低い変異が多く見られたことより、これらの集団は比較的最近分化, 増加したものであると考えられる。また、かなりの頻度で他種との交雑個体が存在することがわかった。多種との交雑が種内変異の増加に大きな役割を果たしている可能性を考える必要があるかも知れない。
