| Research Abstract |
平成19年度は、新しいICタグモニタリングシステムにより、大阪府のA病院の認知症治療専門病棟において、4ケ月間、30名の患者をモニターした。ICタグデータ、臨床データ、心理行動学的徴候に関する評価など収集したデータをもとに、より詳細な分析を実施した。ICタグモニタリングシステムを用いて、認知症患者の歩行について詳細な時間ごとの歩行のパターンに関する客観的な指標を開発した。これらの指標により、先行研究では解明できなかった認知症高齢者の病型別の歩行パターンの検討や、徘徊の関連因子についての検討などが可能になった。その他、臨床現場で問題となる認知症高齢者の歩行距離と体重の変化について検証した。その結果、1日の歩行距離が2km以上のものは体重減少のリスクであることが明らかになった。従来の研究では、認知症高齢者の体重減少は食事摂取量の減少が主要原因と考えられていたが、歩行距離が重要な役割を示すことが検証できた。また、便秘と運動量の関連など、今後の臨床応用へとつながる研究成果を出すことが出来た。さらに、認知症患者の症状に注目し、疾患の特徴に合わせた介入研究(前頭側頭型認知症患者)で、日中、ドアを閉めておくことによる環境調整の効果を検証することができた。これらの成果は国際的な学術雑誌に投稿することができ、掲載が決定した論文もあり今後の認知症領域の研究の発展に大きく貢献したといえる。本年度は、本研究で出した研究成果を国際比較するために、再度、韓国でデータ収集を実施した。その後、データ解析を行い、報告書としてまとめた。
