Research Abstract |
In this paper, the tactics to bring out best untapped capability of a woman farmer, as a prosumer who has both sides of a producer and a consumer, are considered. Entrepreneurial activity which brings in assets accumulation of a woman farmer, has a tendency to be tied closely to consumer needs such as farm-gate sales, restaurant managements, dietary educations, and green-tourism. As for management goal of living, farming and the community, highly public ones, such as offering safe and secure foods, constructing confidential relation of the family and area and passing down a lifestyle, are large. or local consumption. Interview surveillance, focusing on Kumamoto, Miyazaki, Hyogo, Nagano, Gunma and Tochigi, was conducted. Characteristics of management of each stages differ depending upon the type of area and agricultural products, but the approach to redress the negative effects, such as depression of living ability, rarefaction of human, disruption of lifestyle and global environmental issues, emerging from being divided into a producer and a consumer, is common characteristics. Especially, Adding perspective of financing management entity for living, farming, and the community has contributed to the high-spirited activity. Using assets accumulation of a woman farmer as a useful indicator, it is necessary the restructuring and reconsidering scheme for housework for household chores, child rearing and nursing care, which woman farmer has ordinarily borne without pay, occupational work not only producing agricultural production but also processing and distributing them, community-based NPOand community activity.
