Research Abstract |
We developed an e-learning system SHoes for classroom education which mixes the strong point of classroom education with that of e-learning. The main result is as follows. 1. Implementation of the system The basic part of SHoes was completed in 2006. Newly added functions are as follows. (l)Functions for collaborative learning and organizational learning (2)Animation function To do expression more wealthily, we added animation function. A system was made for teachers to help make teaching materials, called Sheet. In addition to Sheet making function, the system has functions for making animation. 2. Use in the lecture We use SHoes in a lecture (around 70 students) practically by each semester after 2006 winter semester. The impression from students was good as a result of the questionnaire. In order to investigate the validity of the function of organizational learning and collaborative learning, it was used at the lecture 3 times and the result that a student's motivation improved was obtained. Both target creation of the place of communication based on a presentation sheet and collaborative learning are realized, and, as a result, improvement in the educational quality is aimed at. 3. The publication of findings The obtained result was released by the study group 4 times. The paper in which those results were summarized was accepted.
