| Research Abstract |
This research had carried out investigation and reference collection about the Tatara iron industry of the Iwami district this year.
An official trip was taken also to the Netherlands and Germany, and it investigated about iron trade.
The Ttara iron industry was prosperous in the Iwami district as well as the Izumo district.
It also analyzed the historical sources of the Toma family of Oda Takunomachi, Nima-cho this time.
The Toma family is located in the Takuno harbor, performed modern term ship business, and was also managed large-scale Tatara iron manufacturing.
The produced iron was shipped frequently for a northeast and Hokuriku District.
