Research Abstract |
This project aimes to create a excellent new model of labor policy in Japan. Concretely, by researching the process of German policies for labor market, at first, we prospected to illuminate critical problems on the issue of labor market. As well known, Germany and Japan are very famiriar to each other, paticulary on labor market field. Furthermore, since the change of government in 1998, German policy has been consentrated on the labor market, and very many variable laws are enacted or revised. Then, in order to achive our project, it will be eminently profitable to research and analize german system and situation on laber market. The results of our project is following : At first, it was achived to grasp the latest situation of laber market policy in German exactly, and to clarify the most severe problems in German. Secondly, real contents of one of the most significant policy on laber market, policy for aged and young workers, are made clear. German policy in this field was obviously changed in lead of so-called Harz- Report. Then, our work are focused to make clear the contents of the Report and to analize the influence to rear policy. Thirdly, the suplimental actions in German, for example promotion of dispatched workers, self-employed worker, and so on, were frequently researched and analezed. Without saying, workers of these categories are the central target of policy on labor market in any divelopped country. Fourthly, analysingpolicies against unemployment in Germany and Japan are central point of our project. By carefull research and analize, we achieved to clarify real situations in both countries, German and Japan, and proposed a few practical measures to solve this problem. And finally, total and systematic means to create new labor market policy was proposed in our Report.
