コミュニティを、企業とステークホルダーとの連携に視点をおきネットワーク型社会ととらえ、企業の社会貢献活動の実態に関する量的・質的調査結果から、企業の社会貢献活動の定着と、コミュニティとの連携の促進が明らかとなった。企業メセナによる疲弊した地域の活性化に関する調査から、アート組織を連結環として、グローバルを志向する企業とローカルを志向する地域住民の自主的活動とのネットワーキングが、特に重要であることが解明された
