Research Abstract

1 Introduced the idea and the techniques of Per Halvor Lunde (Published a book and a DVD. Opened seminars. Presented at Academic Meeting):
Translated a book written by Per Halvor Lunde, and published the book by Chuohoki Publishers CO., Ltd. Published a DVD of the basic techniques by Chuohoki Publishers CO., Ltd, supervised by Per Halvor Lunde, edit cooperated by A Research Group of the Knowledge of Transfer and Movement Assistance. Opened three seminars conducted by Per Halvor Lunde. (The total number of 180 people participated.) Opened three seminars conducted by A Research Group of the Knowledge of Transfer and Movement Assistance. (The total number of 80 people participated.) Made a presentation in Academic Meeting. In all cases, we could gain a high concern and opinion about the idea and the techniques of Per Halvor Lunde.
2 Opened a homepage of A Research Group of the Knowledge of Transfer and Movement Assistance (http://www.ijoken.com) and introduced the idea and the techniques of Per Halvor Lunde.
3 Learned the idea and the techniques of Per Halvor Lunde, and undertook case studies continuously, worked together over 21 times with nursing department of Naruto General hospital (350 beds) in Chiba Prefecture from June, 2005 to December, 2007. The main opinion was the techniques took root on the nursing spot, the lumbago of carers was lightened, and at the same time, the activity of persons in need of care had increased.
4 Enforced a longitudinal study three times on nurses and staffs of Naruto General Hospital. As a result, the possibility was suggested that The techniques of non-lifting transfer and movement assistance have big effect on incentive of workers to work. And the high possibility was suggested that it is a useful technique not only for carers, but also for persons in need of care. The reason the techniques seemed really useful is rather because it is a sliding care (a transfer and movement assistance made by sliding to reduce the coefficient of friction of the body) than the idea that the main care is to shift up and down a center of balance.
5 Development and selling of welfare goods :
Selling the sliding sheet SURUTO which joint developed with The Fujikura Parachute Co., Ltd. from February 2007, and gained a high evaluation from the users. Homepage of SURUTO (http://www.suruto.jp)
