Research Abstract |
This project researched about youth unemployed and part time workers after they graduated secondary or higher education. This project revealed below. 1. What is the reason why young people are come to be unemployed or work as a part time worker? 2. Compared with the foreign countries where such the youth-study advanced, what is the difference between two countries as for unemployed and worked part time workers? 3. After we revealed the characteristics of Japanese youth unemployed and part time workers, what do we need to execute "Young People's Independences and challenge plan" exploiting Miscellaneous School? We instituted quality and quantity research among young people unemployed and worked as a part time worker. Their achievements aren't unevenly distributed. In the West, numerous young people unemployed or work as a part time are the race minority or dropped out secondary education. They are mainly "socially excluded", therefore, their educational length or quality are short and low. But, not all Japanese youth unemployed or work as a part timer are either low achievement or "s socially excluded ". They exists any classes or sections in Japan, the main reason is their grades in high school days. Consequently, young people unemployed or work as a part timer are decided not hierarchy in high school but their grade in high school. Most of them think on one hand that they want to be formally employed; on the other hand, if they want to take a job for a long time, they don't mind low wages or working condition of poor quality. Especially, some of them in Japan, even if formal supports about youth employment are given them, they don't become a worker effectively. In the 'Young People's Independences and challenge plan" needs to the view point that what young people truly want to improve their working condition and feeling for labor.
