Research Abstract

自然界や工学応用で現れる様々な非線形な現象やシステムのふるまいの理解と利用は, 広い分野に重要な波及効果がある. 本研究ではこのような目的のために必要となるモデルの表現や制御の方法に関する研究を主に, そこで必要となるアルゴリズムの創出と評価法の研究を従としておこなった. 主な具体的成果は, 設計に必要な計算量とモデリングの精度のバランスを考慮できるモデル表現の提案, アルゴリズムの計算複雑度の解析, 非線形拡散現象の新しい性質の発見とエントロピーによるその定量的な理解である.
