| Research Abstract |
From the last year's research, (1)Applicant improved Lab/Exercises in Civil and Environmental Engineering I "Strength and Design of Beam". The 6 times experiment was carried out using it, and part and experimental method which the student was hard to understand were amended and were complemented in every time " Instruction Book of the Experiment ". The main things are production of pamphlet " Bridge is built over Sai River " and presentation of 3 kinds of design example. "Instruction Book of the Experiment " was revised based on this study. And, " Lab/Exercises in Civil and Environmental Engineering I According to the Engineering Design Process" will be announced in annual meeting of Japanese Society for Engineering Education.
Next, (2) in "ASCE Steel Bridge Competition" of "Engineering Design III", students designed pipe arch system and steel bridge with pier. It was possible to do design, production and erection that do not yield to the student of U.S.A. for the first time in this fiscal year, though there was a problem at the strength.
And, (3)e learning relation this fiscal year, teaching material was produced. It is Web teaching material "Introduction to Energy Methods", and Web ＆ CD teaching material "Introduction to Structural Design " the latter cope in Engineering Design which JABEE emphasizes.
Finally, the research result for 2 years was arranged in the 70 pages report " Construction of Learning System in Structural Engineering using PBL Method ".
