| Research Abstract |
耐酸性、特に低リン耐性が強く、亜熱帯域での生育量も大きいカバークロップとして利用可能なマメ科植物として冬季にはヘアリーベッチが、夏季にはシカクマメおよびラッカセイが有望であることを明らかにした。なお、シカクマメやラッカセイは食用作物としても有望であり、食料事情の悪い熱帯域の国や地域における収穫残渣の有機物としての施用による土壌肥沃度の向上も可能なマメ科植物であることが示された。
