Research Abstract |
80 patients with prostate cancer were included in this study. However, we could compare between spectra data and biopsy results in 29 patients. The (choline + creatine)/citrate (CC/C) ratio was significantly higher in cancer than in healthy prostate. CC/C ratio and Gleason score were correlated strongly (r=0.686). CC/C ratio at higher magnetic field may predict the tumor aggressiveness. Development of spectral estimation method based on density matrix made it possible to measure T2-relaxation time of in-vivo citrate. The three-dimensional display software was developed in order to understand the location and volume of spectral abnormalities. This software will offer the important information to select treatments.
