Research Abstract

Recently, the electromagnetic radiation to the living body is paid to attention as a problem of damage to the living body mechanism. Moreover, the GHz band comes to be used to communicate, so the influence on the living body of this band is paid to attention. This research measures the reflection of the millimeterwave and the submillimeter wave as a basic rematch on irradiation of the millimeter wave and the submillimeter wave into living body. Our research of the past started from heat degeneration to living body using the gyrotron, and at the millimeter wave band, the living body sample was heat degenerated by about 300 mW rises oscillator. Lb apply these researches to clinical, the reflection of the millimeter wave from living body samples was measured And, they were examined in detail The permittivity changes into the living body sample by changing of variations in temperature and the protein structure. Moreover, the absorption of the electromagnetic radiation to the sample was observed by measuring the reflected wave under the irradiation. The output was controlled with an attenuator, and the time to the heat degeneration and the correlation with the output were obtained. It is effective to observe Anti-Reflecting effect with the thin Era dielectric substance, and to improve the absorption efficiency of the electromagnetic radiation of the sample. As a result, suppressing extra irradiations other than a target part when irradiating it became possible. Moreover when transmitting, the development of a flexible wave guide was tried. The wave guide was made for trial purposes by using teflon with low dielectric dissipation factor They obtained high transmission efficiency In addition, it has been obtained that the influence on the winding is a little. The cooperation of Fukui University was received based on these results and the irradiation equipment by the high power electromagnetic radiation using gyrotron was developed. As a result, even if various applications were used, an irradiation output enough for the degeneration of the living body could be obtained.
