Research Abstract |
For apperception mechanism elucidation in CIPA weudied it mainly on magnetoencephalogram. (1)For elucidation of apperception mechanism in CIPA, we mainly studied on magnetoencephalogram. We evaluated CIPA patients by somatosensory elicitation magnetoencephalo ground(SEF). As a result, 20, 40, 70 msec peak latency were recorded in a contra side by anterior brachial region skin electric stimulation. We observed Equivalent Current Dipoles(ECDs) which was supposed from SEF in latency 20ms in contra side primary somatosensor area(SI) of all subjects. These results almost accorded with data of normal subjects. ECDs in another latency was found in contra side primary somatosensor area(SI) of all subjects, these results almost accorded with data of normal subjects. These results suggested that apperception mechanism in CIPA, especially through A 6 fibers, is similar to the data of normal subjects. (2)We tried both Neurometer and QST to the CIPA patients for the purpose of establishing noninvasive peripheral nerve fibrous elective irritation methods to the CIPA patients. As a result, QST was useful for a peripheral nerve usability test for the CIPA patients, however, Neurometer should be used with careful attention, especially in case of evaluating myelinated fibers. (3)As animal models of the CIPA patient, we tried to establish various animal models. In the process, we found that a formalin test which widely used as an animal experimental pain model could stimulated different nerve fiber by the used concentration. The above is all fruit we got.
