Research Abstract

佐賀大学医学部付属病院耳鼻咽喉科にて入院加療した73名の頭頸部癌(扁平上皮癌)患者の血清中のラミニンγ2鎖N末端フラグメント濃度(LNγ2鎖濃度)の測定結果(平成18年度実績報告書に記載)から、血中LNγ2鎖濃度は主に原発巣におけるLNγ2鎖発現陽性な癌細胞の総和を反映すると考えられ、治療の奏効度や進行・再発などの臨床的経過を評価するマーカーとして有用であることが示唆された。
この研究成果を国内学会等に出席し発表するとともに、研究関連の情報を収集した。
また、研究成果を英文論文としてまとめ、Head&Neck誌に投稿しアクセプトされた。
