Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In this year, the experimental protocols and data extraction workflows were developed, allowing conducting the first set of experiments revealing subtle behavioral effects of eCB modulators using clinically relevant (non-overdosing) concentrations. The main experimental sets are currently being executed, and the preliminary results have been presented at international and internal events. We have expanded the initial behavioral assays from 4 to 10, bringing much broader and complete picture of animal behavior under the examined compound effects. Importantly, we are developing a training program for introducing the method of stress-free animal experimentation to the research community; initial communications in this topic have been received with great enthusiasm both in Japan and abroad.
