Research Abstract

We have investigated the development of (1) superefficient entangled photon sources and photon detectors utilizing quasi-phase matched nonlinear optical devices, (2) efficient methods for entangled photon generation in bulk semiconductors and microcavities, and (3) novel entanglement recovery protocols.
