Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では,衝撃力を利用したマイクロ液体ジェット生成法(代表者の開発技術)を出発点に,高機能性(粘着性,細胞培養 性など)を有するマイクロジェッ トの吐出制御法確立および先駆的医工学技術の核となる高機能性マイクロジェットの利用基盤構築を目指した.
本年度実績は以下の通りである.
(i) 生体組織を模擬した軟質材料への衝突挙動解明のため,軟質材料へのジェット貫入および小球の衝突実験を行った.軟質材料への貫入時の内部応力場および貫入穴形状の時間変化を計測した.新たな無次元数を提案し,穴形状の変形が予測可能となった(Kiyama, Tagawa, et al. 2019, J. Fluid Mech.)
(ii) 高粘度液体吐出のための新機構を開発した.ジェットの成長過程について理論的解析を行い,実験と非常に良い一致を得た(Gordillo et al. 2020, J. Fluid Mech).また塗着液滴の制御として,基板から液滴に電気的作用を働かせた際の挙動について実験的に解明した(Vo et al. 2020, Soft Matter).
(iii) 非ニュートン流体である粘弾性流体のジェット挙動解析を行った.ジェットの弾性の効果による新たな挙動を発見した.解析手法として偏光計測を導入し,ジェット内部応力分布を明らかにした(Tagawa et al. 2019, Proc. APSDFD).また新たな応力場計測手法としてSmartphone BOS法を開発した(Hayasaka et al. 2019, Exp Fluids.)
(iv) サブマイクロジェット生成メカニズムの解明および制御として,超高速度カメラ(Kirana, 5M fps)による超高速度画像計測を行った.その結果,サブマイクロジェット領域でも代表者らが構築したモデルが適用できることを明らかにした.
