Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度は,双方型の盗聴通信路について扱った.特に,ガウスノイズ型の通信路とポアソン分布型の通信路の2つの場合について扱った.従来型の盗聴通信路では,盗聴者と送信者の間の相互情報量が正規受信者と送信者の間の相互情報量より小さいことが必要であった.そのため,盗聴者が正規受信者と送信者の間で盗聴する中間者攻撃(man-in-the-middle attack)の下では安全者通信ができない問題点があった.本研究では,正規受信者と送信者が双方向の通信を行うことにより,中間者攻撃の下でも安全な通信が可能となることを示した.
なお,多くの双方型の盗聴通信路では,多くのラウンドを想定しているが,本研究では1往復の通信しか行わない.さらに,本研究のモデルでは,往路の通信のみ,ノイズのある通信路を考え,復路では誤り訂正を付加すること想定して,ノイズのない通信路を想定している.そのため,きわめて単純な解析が可能となる.このような議論は,2元対称通信の場合にはすでになされていたが,衛星通信などに現れるガウスノイズ型の通信路やポアソン分布型の通信路ではなされておらず,これらの通信路での双方型の盗聴通信路は初めてである.なお,ガウスノイズ型の通信路では,BPSK変調の下で解析した.ポアソン分布型の通信路ではon-off keying 変調の下で解析を行った.なお,本研究で想定している盗聴者の攻撃はあくまでも受動的なものであり,能動的に送信者から正規受信者への通信を改変するものではない.能動的な盗聴者に対しては,より複雑な解析が必要となる.解析した.ポアソン分布型の通信路ではon-off keying 変調の下で解析を行った.

Reason

本年度は,双方型の盗聴通信路について扱ったが,この成果は,通信関係の分野で著名な論文誌であるIEEE Transactions on CommunicationsとIEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Securityに掲載された.さらに,昨年度得られた計算-転送方式に関する成果もIEEE Transactions on Communicationsに掲載されるなど,本研究の成果は国際的に高く評価されていることがわかる.そのほか,ネットワーク符号に関する成果もIEEE Transactions on Information Theoryに掲載されており,これらのことから総合的におおむね順調に進展していると判断することができる.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

2020年4月1日より,名古屋大学を休職し,中国の南方科技大学で勤務するため,科研費の研究中断・再開制度を利用し,この科研費を2020年度から中断することになった.そのため,この科研費の再開は名古屋大学に復職した後となる.しばらく,研究が中断されるため,再開後の研究は,休職期間中に得られた知見を反映したものとなるため,現時点で具体的な推進方策を記述することは困難である.
敢えて述べるとすると,再開後の研究環境が変化していると予想されるが,そのような中でも,可能な限り新たな通信タスクについて,研究することが望ましいと考えられる.そのために,休職期間中には,新たな通信タスクに関して知見を得るために常にアンテナを張っておく予定である.
