Outline of Final Research Achievements

We found and elucidated new phenomena induced by surface plasmon such as adsorbed states of DNA bases and aromatic thiols, photoreactions of p-alkylthiophenols and p-halogenothiophenols, optical trapping and exclusive pressure using gap mode resonances, and opticaletching of metal nanostructures in aqueous solutions.
