Outline of Annual Research Achievements

膨張宇宙でスカラー場の微分が時間的な背景におけるScalar-tensor理論を記述する有効場の理論は、EFT of inflationあるいはEFT of dark energyと呼ばれ、Planck teamなどによる解析にも採用されているが、それは向山が共同研究者とともに構成したghost condensationの有効場の理論をMinkowski時空から膨張宇宙に拡張したものである。向山と共同研究者は本研究において、これらの有効場の理論を、スカラー場の微分が時間的な任意の背景に拡張することに世界で初めて成功した。そして、Scalar-tensor理論におけるブラックホールの摂動の解析に応用した。このEFTは、重力波の観測と宇宙論スケールの観測と、重力理論をつなぐ架け橋の役割を果たすと期待される。
また、宇宙論background では全てのvector-tensor理論を普遍的に記述できる有効場の理論を構成することにも成功した。これは、上述のghost condensationをゲージ化した理論を、Minkowskiから膨張宇宙に拡張したものである。このEFTは、ダークエネルギー理論を観測から制限するのに有用と考えられる。
他にも、Dark photon dark matterの新しい生成シナリオの提唱、Massive gravityの観測データからの制限、Minimally modified graivtyに基づいてH0 tensionとS8 tensionを同時に解決できる可能性のある理論の構築、Horava-Lifshitz理論に基づく量子宇宙論、Horava-Lifshitz理論におけるブラックホール摂動、U-DHOST理論におけるshadowy modeの非摂動的定義、Horndeski理論における重力波伝搬の解析、情報喪失問題の再考察、等を行なった。
